A letter to Mr. Metcalf suggesting that people stop sending food to their soldiers overseas due to the fact that the food gets old and bad in the mail and then it is just wasting the food and food production is already at an all time low.
Council of National Defense asks the public to discontinue sending food to the camps. The waste referred to can be chocked only by getting each solider family and friends to realize that they individually are the persons asked to stop.
HJM sends this letter regarding the county council and how their authority is more relevant than that of the Iowa State Council and because of this all reports should be sent to them.
