He is nervous about the situation and feels there has been nothing done about pertaining patriotism. He also inquiries about the situation dealing with the Food Administration. He is trying to gather a number of best men in each county to go over these predispositions of the Food Administration and looking at the matter as a whole to make it work more efficiently. He feels it is the only way to get this movement anywhere within the state.

Description
An account of the resource
In this letter, the issue of creating a once a day delivery system is addressed. The writer is looking to increase support throughout Iowa on the idea that it will be beneficial to the grocers to downsize into once a day system. However, the lack of support throughout the state has caused some slower transitional states as well as created a lack of support. The author is reaching out to Metcalf to not only get people opinions, but to show and demonstrate personal support.
